Inspiring People
WORKING WITH YOUNG PEOPLE
Voices from the Margins staff and volunteers are available to work with young people across the Southwest.
Our project locations include Primary & Secondary schools, special schools and colleges.
Our enjoyable, creative and safe learning environments are conducive to expression, debate, exploration & problem solving.
We provide educational groups with a chance to try out new activities, learn new skills and produce exciting and contemporary work.
Students have benefited from one to one guidance and mentorship, whilst professionals have explored new approaches to learning during our staff training sessions.
We provide opportunities for active involvement in a emotionally secure environment. Work is user lead, inspiring and always thought provoking.
Through positive encouragement and support, people develop a sense of self-esteem, learn new skills and build confidence.
“Art is a powerful tool to communicate human experiences and aspirations. It has a major role to play in promoting learning at all levels.”
“That was the best lesson I have ever had, I really understand how good I am at this now and can’t wait for the next course.”
“My new skills and confidence will stay with me for ever, thank you for helping me to recognise all the things I can do, its much more important than what I can’t do”.
